KINGDOM Launch: How NFT Holders Shape the Roadmap
Why This Is Important?
Most NFT projects get bogged down because decisions are made off-chain or in closed discussions. KINGDOMbrings decisions (verifiable, replayable, auditable) while keeping holder participation simple. This means clearer priorities, increased community trust, and a utility loop that ties NFT possession to real outcomes.
What Is KINGDOM
KINGDOM is the governance layer for HBAR Hodl Ducks. If you hold a Duck and verify your wallet, you can:
- Create proposals (within guidelines)
- Vote on proposals with Duck-weight
- Comment to create context, ask questions, and build consensus

It is designed to be fast, transparent, and holder-first.
How It Works
1) Verification & Access
- Connect your Hedera wallet on the governance site.
- The system checks Duck possession (on Hedera) and unlocks KINGDOM functions.
2) Proposals
- Any verified holder of a KINGDOM Duck can create proposals (Gold or Diamond Duck).
- Proposal template includes: Title, Rationale, Expected Impact, Budget/Resources (if any), Timeline, Success Criteria, and Reviewer(s).
3) Voting
- Voting power = Duck-weight. Each Duck = 1 voting unit (1 Duck = 1 vote).
- Quorum: 100 Duck votes for a proposal to be “considered.”
- Epoch length: ~26 days per proposal (open voting window).
- Outcomes: Pass/Fail.
4) Comments & Discussion
- Threaded comments under each proposal for context.
- Most-liked comments are highlighted in “Summary” text boxes for late voters.
5) Transparency & Records
- Each proposal has a permanent page with: why it was made, vote count, Duck-weight, on-chain references, and post-mortem.
- Public audit log: creation → changes → completion.
Security note: Wallet signatures prove actions. No servers ever see private keys.
What Holders Can Influence
- Roadmap priorities (what ships first)
- Duck Reserve budget allocations (when appropriate)
- Partnerships & co-marketing programs
- Feature requests for Ducks Wallet / Ducks Vote
- The structure of community events & giveaways

How to Participate (Step-by-Step)

- Get a Duck on the marketplace (or use one you already own).
- Verify your wallet on the KINGDOM site.
- Read active proposals, check comments, ask questions.
- Cast your vote before the epoch ends.
- Watch results and track shipped items on the public roadmap.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Do I need multiple Ducks to vote?
A: No. 1 Duck = 1 vote. Possession of more Ducks gives proportionately greater influence.
Q: What if I sell my Duck during a vote?
A: Votes are counted at snapshot times. If you sell before the snapshot, your voting power may change. The final tally reflects ownership at the time of the snapshot.
Q: Can non-holders comment?
A: Reading is public. Commenting and suggesting require verified Duck ownership.
Q: Is this a token?
A: No. KINGDOM uses Duck NFTs as keys for governance. No token for governance.
Q: Where do I see results?
A: Each proposal page shows the live tally, quorum status, final results, and an immutable reference.
Governance Principles
- Utility before hype: Governance that ships, not noise.
- Transparency: Easy-to-understand rules, visible tallies, open archives.
- Inclusivity: Low-friction participation for all holders.
- Accountability: Proposers report progress; failed items get a post-mortem.
